The fuse panel for all years Mystique and Contour is located in the cabin, under the dash on the driver side, just to the left of the steering column as you sit in the car. There is a small pull tab that looks & feels like a Golf tee. A gentle tug on that tab & the panel will drop open. There is also a main fuse box under the dash adjacent the battery. Access should be self-explanitory.

Should take only a few seconds to reset the computer in theory. I have found this to be the case in my '99 Mystique & Contours. For my cars, I only remove fuses 4 & 11 from the box under the hood next to the battery. This resets the comuter without losing the station programming in my radio.
