Where is the heater blower motor resistor block located on a 2000 Cougar and how is it replaced?

Open glove compartment, pull in on two tabs on side of compartment to swing door all the way down. Blower motor resistor is located to the left of the blower motor on the back wall of the enclosure. One T-15 Torx head screw holds it on along with the wiring connector.

If you replaced the blower motor switch resistor on a 1999 Mercury Cougar because the blower only worked on high speed and now you have no heat what could be the problem?
It is probably the resistor. I had the same problem with my 99 Cougar. It is located on the passenger side under dash. Check with Ford. I think that this part was recalled.
