Note that a 2.8L engine is a V6 and has two valve covers. Did you try looking at the other valve cover? == == == == IT'S ON THE VALVE COVER WHERE THEY ALWAYS ARE. I have this car and it is not there!
What is the firing order on a 1988 Buick Century.
Freon valve on my 1989 Buick Regal Custom 3.1 V-6 located on driver side under the area of battery tray. Hope this helps!
You do not adjust the Idle Air Control as it is controlled by the computor.

Check to see that the heat control is working, and water is flowing through the heater core. Make sure that the engine thermostat is not stuck open, and the engine coolant is full.
Factory R-12 Should be conveted to R-134
Disconnect the 1988 Century battery. Remove the alternator battery. Disconnect the alternator wiring, then unbolt the alternator. Bolt in the new alternator, then reverse the procedure to finish the installation.
Look along frame rail Follow fuel lines from tank
Because its a 1988 Buick LeSabre
Should be around 40 psi
