Pontiac Grand ams dont have an inertia switch, actually no GM cars that i know of have them.

Pontiacs do not use inertia/reset swithces.
Dodge doesn't use inertia switches.
Jeep does not use inertia/reset switches.

Where would I finf the relay switch on a 96 Grand Am?.
I called Pontiac there is no cfuel cut off switch.
Grand ams didnt use an inertia switch like fords do. If the fuel pump is not engaging then you need to check the wiring. GM's circuit would not allow the fuel pump to enage in these systems if the oil pressure switch was bad, or you had extremely low oil pressure. Hope this helped.
