Actually that is Incorrect, on 2003-present Tiburon V6 models the IAT sensor is located on the back side of the intake manifold, nearest the firewall, between the throttle cable mount and the stainless steel grounding cable on the back of the engine. The IAT is held in by a clip, remove the clip, and pull the plug out, there are two females, one is yellow and the other is red, insert your 10-50 dollar EBAY "12-35hp Racing module" into the females using small needle nose pliers, wrap it up with electical tape, and let the diode blow your ecu's fuel-air ratio out of commission. BTW the "racing modules" are only diodes, they are all the same, and they do NOTHING, i actually lost horsepower! Also when you up your Air fuel mix, don't forget to increase air-flow by buying a substantially overpriced cold air intake. Oh remember too... too much fuel and not enough air, lowers output. you burn more fuel because the computer is fooled into thinking the air is colder than it is, therefore dumping too much fuel into the combustion chamber.. i mean honestly think about it... Fuel is just fuel. AIR IS HORSEPOWER. The MORE AIR that is put into the engine increases horsepower, How do you think turbo works? AND JUST SO YOU KNOW MODIFYING YOU ELECTRICAL SYSTEM VOIDS YOUR FACTORY WARRANTY AS WELL AS PUTTING YOUR ECU AND ENGINE UNDER MORE STRAIN.. DO THE RIGHT THING AND STOP BUYING CRAP. GO OUT AND BUY A MSD IGNITION BOX, NOLOGY HOT WIRES,BOSCH IRIDIUM PLATINUM FUSIONS, MAKE YOUR OWN EXHAUST, BUY A INJEN OR AEM COLD AIR INTAKE, A 50% SHORT THROW SHIFTER AND YOU'LL BE HAPPIER KNOWING YOU CAN RUN WITH THE BIG BOYS, LIKE WRXSTI AND EVOS. OR JUST BUY A REAL TURBO OR SUPERCHARGER AND SPANK THEM LIKE THEY DESERVE!! Hi, The air intake temp. sensor is located inside the Mass air flow (between the air filter and the intake). ATS and MAF can't be sold separatly...quite expensive. Wish that helped, Pete
tiburon 2.0 Intake air temperature (IAT) sensor lokation?
to the right in the engine hiding in a box the stock air intake. The intake box unclips.
A person should know the location of the sensors in a vehicle. The IAT sensor is located on the air intake housing of this vehicle.Ê
IAT - Intake(or incomming) air temperature sensor. It will be located along the air intake tube. It is usually either on the airbox or right after. Before you get to the mass airflow sensor. It usually just is held in the tube by a grommet. Undo the connector and pull it out.
the starter is located on the intake part of the block in the center of the engine compartment. from the driver side look for the shifter cables on top of the trans axle and it is straight back from there.
Go to www.hmaservice.com and set up a account. "it's free" and then you will find access to wiring and mechanical service data.
hyundai tiburon 2001 all vacum hoses OK new spark plugs i have spark engine will start but hard to start firing order OK but wont stay on what can it be is it intake sensor or not enough fuel pressure

The sensor should be located on the intake boot(air intake system) or on the intake manifold.
The intake air temp sensor on a 2002 Hyundai Accent is located at the front of the engine compartment. It is inside the air intake assembly which directs fresh air to the throttle body.
remove the top plastic on the right side of the engine and you will the the stock intake, all you need to do is unclip the box and you will see the filter.
The air inlet temperature sensor is found inside the intake of a 2005 Hyundai Elantra. More specifically it is located near the air box where the filter is.
