walk to the right side of the bike. lay down and look under the middle of the bike. just behind the engine and directly below the tranny is an oil pan. the oil drain plug is on the very front of the pan. the tranny drain plug is on the side facing you.
Look underneath the bike and just below the tranny. you should find two drain plugs. The engine is the forward drain plug. The one on the side (right side of the bike) is the tranny plug.
The drain plug is under the engine, near the kick stand.

It is on the very bottom facing you, near the rear primary bolts. It looks very much like a primary bolt to the novice. At close inspection, one can tell the dif.
The oil drain plug on a Harley Davidson 003 Dyna Wide Glide is located on the left side of the oil drain pan. The right side contains the transmission drain plug.
The 2003 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softtail transmission drain plug is on the bottom of the transmission. The drain plug is flush with the bottom of the transmission. You can remove it with a half inch ratchet.

Drain plug on the bottom
On a 1993 Harley Davidson Low Rider custom, the transmission drain plug is underneath the transmission. The filler plug is on the side of the transmission case.
The plug is on the bottom of the oil tank. There is no oil drain on the engine.
Oil drain plug is on the left side on bottom of oil tank. Dry sump engines do not have drain plug on engine.
