I had the same problem with my car. I don't know if it is the same or not because mine is a 2004. Anyways I finally found where it is located by looking at the owners book that came with the car. On my engine it is on the top driver side. You have to remove the plastic cover on top of the engine. once that is gone looking down into the engine, and you will see a round black lid with a nub that sticks up that you fit a socket onto. If I remember correctly the socket size is either 1 1/4 or 1 1/2. Once you get that loose be careful not to spill oil all over as you pull filter out, as well there is an o-ring on that black lid it is recommended that be changed as well I think. I didn't replace it on mine and I've had no problem. I hope this is in some way helpful to everyone.
The fuel filter will pull out of the canister when removed.
CH9018...It's a really small filter, doesn't even come in a canister like a lot of filters do.
Looking at the top of the engine from the front of the car, the oil filter canister is at the very back on the right-hand side. you will need a 1-1/16" wrench (or socket) to losen the nut (built as part of the canister) which will unscrew the top portion of the canister so you can replace the filter. The filter will come out with the top portion and you should replace the 3 O-rings at the same time.
On top of the engine midway next to the firewall. Unscrew canister top and remove old filter. Install new 0-rings that come with the new filter and reinstall.
the oil filter is a canister filter on the right hand side of the engine. right beside the fill cap. make sure you tighten it to 25 nm with a torque wrench
My 2007 Toyota Tundra takes 8 quarts of 20w50 oil and the canister paper oil filter only available from Toyota for about $6.
Under the top cover...there is a black cap. Use either a wrench or a set of channel locks to open that up. The canister filter goes in there.
You will have to remove the glove compartment and it will be sitting inside of its own compartment. They should have it in your owners manual.

it is located in a canister on the top right side of the engine. remove the plastic engine cover on the top of the engine and you will see it. The cover is held on by two screws and four acorn nuts.

Charcoal canister is next to the tank. It's basically a box with hoses and cables attached to it.
