The oil pressure sensor on a 1988 Chevy 1500 5.7 is located on the engine. It is on the right side, near the intake manifold.
There is no "oil cam sensor". There is a oil pressure sensor and a cam sensor, but they are two different sensors.
It is behind the distributor at the firewall.
The Chevrolet SSR oil pressure sensor is located on the right hand side of the engine. The sensor will be near the bottom of the engine block, just above the oil filter.

It's in the front of the engine above the oil filter
it is behind the destribuater at the firewall
It means you may be low on engine oil or need a new oil pressure sensor or worse a new oil pump.
under the car engine, between the oil filter and the starter
The oil sensor is junk. You MUST replace it. Be sure to put a SMALL amount of sealer on the threads. When you start the engine the oil pump pumps oil up to and in the oil sensor.
