It may be hard to recognize it because it should have a heat shield around it as well. Look for its wire coming down from the engine compartment and follow it to the oil pressure sending unit. Drain your engine oil and remove the oil filter to make changing the oil pressure sending unit easier.

Behind drivers side valve cover at the firewall. The 6.5 diesel is known for the oil pressure sensor going bad. This three wire sensor is both the sending unit for the oil pressure gauge and the safety cut off for the fuel pump relay. (no oil pressure, no fuel pressure.)
