No, there is a starter solenoid located on the starter motor.
The starter solenoid is mounted directly on the starter.
I am unable to remove the starter from under the vehicle no room for it to slip out What can I do !
the starter is located on the passenger side of the engine beneath the exhaust manifold.
Under vehicle, passenger side rear of engine.
Follow the positive battery cable from the battery, it will lead you right to the starter.

The fusable links are ususally located about 5 to 6 inches away from the starter on the harness.
On the passenger side.
The starter solenoid is attached to the starter. Follow the positive battery cable from the battery, it will lead you to the starter solenoid. The starter would have to be removed to replace the starter solenoid.
You didn't mention what engine it has but, if you follow the positive battery cable from the battery, it will lead right to the starter.
