Remove the air cleaner and below it is the TBI unit. Looking at the engine from the front it is located on the left side (passenger side) and is held on with 2 bolts and there is one electrical connector connected to it.
The 2002 Chevy Impala throttle position sensor can be found on the top of the engine. The throttle position sensor will be near the injector fuel pump.
The 1997 Chevy 1500 throttle position sensor is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The throttle position sensor will be in the center of the firewall.
The throttle position sensor is on the throttle body opposite of where the cables attach.
The throttle position sensor is on the throttle body at the end of the throttle shaft.
On the throttle body.
It is on the lower right hand side of the throttle body. There are 2 sensor on that side , it is the lower one.
On the Throttle body!
Assuming you mean the throttle position sensor. The throttle position sensors tells the engine computer when the throttle position has changed, it adjusts fuel flow to match the throttle opening. If the throttle position sensor fails then the engine computer has to depend only on the MAP sensor to define air flow thus how to adjust the fuel flow. I would expect then that response time would be slower than when the throttle position sensor works correctly. On a Chevy Celebrity it might also turn on the check engine light and post either a code 21 or a code 22.
It is the bottom sensor on the right side of the throttle plate housing. That is the part that all the duct work comes from the air filter box and hooks to the engine is.
its located on the side of the throttle body
It is on the side of the throttle body opposite the throttle cable.
The throttle position sensor is actually apart of the throttle plate actuator assembly and must be replaced as a unit.
