if you stand on the driver side of the vehicle you should be able to see the master cylinder for the brake system and the fuse box right in front of you.look down in a directiond between the fuse box and the master cylinder for brake you'll see the short dip stick for transmission.make sure you have the vehicle at the operating temperature when checking the level of the fluid and make sure the vehicle is leveled even.
on the engine
There is no dipstick on the standard transmission , the fluid level is checked at the fill plug on the transmission
Assuming you have a automatic transmission the dipstick should be located under the hood, behind the engine, on the passenger side.
I it is a manual transmission it has no dipstick. If it is A/T it is located on the front of the transmission near the engine block. It is very small and has no tube. Look carefully.
The transmission dipstick is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, adjacent to the evaporator case.

You are going to need a long funnel as it goes into where you pull the dipstick for the transmission fluid out
rear passenger side of engine
If auto--through the dipstick tube If standard through side plug in transmission
It is located on the left side of the car facing the engine toward the back. Should be marked TRANSMISSION.
It is important to know the location of all fluid dipsticks when owning a vehicle. The transmission fluid dipstick is towards the back of the engine, near the window and has a black cap.
