I believe by the 2000 model year, GM was not using dipsticks anymore. If you look on the top of the transmission, you should see a red cap...at least I think they were red. This is the trans fill plug. They basically went on the theory that the trans is good to 100,000 thousand miles so no fluid change is necessary. For some reason they thought it would be a good idea to do away with dipstick also. The dipstick is a special tool sent only to the dealerships...and I'm sure aftermarket shops can get their hands on them too. So a shop, or the dealer will be able to check it for you.
no.... Pontiac changed to a new transmission in 2000
Will a Sunfire GT transmission fit what? Can you give us a bit more info, please?
take out the engine speed sensor in the transmission or transfer case depending if its manual or automatic
There may or may not be one. Some Sunfires, the earlier ones I think, had them. Later models did not. In my '96, the dipstick is located essentially under the brake fluid reservoir near the firewall. FriPilot
On a 2005 Ford Mustang GT the automatic transmission does not have an automatic transmission fluid level dipstick ( and the manual transmission fluid level is checked underneath the vehicle at the transmission fill plug )
There is not one
dipstick hole
i'm pretty sure from a 95-99 sunfire gt/z24/grand am gt will work cause i know my 2000 z24 is diff than a 97 tranny
The rear speakers are 6"x9"
4R70W
It does not need transmission fluid. you need to fill the clutch up
on an automatic trans through dipstick tube
