It will be located along the intake manifold. It will look sort of rectangular. Metal usually. It will have two vacuum hoses connected to it along with a electrical connection. Just remove these and label the vacuum hoses remove the two screws and it comes off. (I thnk it is two or three screws) Sorry cant remenber exactly how many screws.
The engine will not start. Need a scaner to scan engine, to see whats wrong.
Check engine light may come on, engine may run poorly(rich or lean), fuel economy may suffer......
Is check engine light on ??? If so, Then you will have to scan engine with a engine scanner to find out whats going on . It could be the fuel pressure regurlator blown, Are bad ingnetion module. Bad coolant sensor. Need to scan engine. Don't do no guess work cost to much money. HOPE I HELPED
The O2 sensor is BAD and needs to be replaced. Whats happening is when the engine is cold the sensor sends an air to fuel mixture signal to the computer that satisfys the engine's requirements at start, but when the engine heats up the sensor then send a leanner mixture (To much Fuel) that the engine can't burn off so the Sparkplugs get wet and misfire stalling the engine.
With the engine cranking & the vacuum off 2.4-2.7 bargauge to be connected between fuel supply pipe & fuel rail.
The 5.7 liter Chevrolet engine fuel pressure should be a team PSI. A range of 16 PSI to 20 PSI is acceptable.
Go to Auto Zone they will pull codes for you for FREE. It may be the O2 Sensor
Wiring, computer, or engine mechanical problem.
With the engine off then turning it on, it should be between 23 to 31 psi. With the engine running, it should be 13 to 20 psi.
A shorted or grounded coolent sensor, A bad computer. Is check engine light on ? if so have engine scaned by a good shop and they can tell you whats up.
Two things come to mind. O2 sensor or a tps sensor. You really need a code reader to know exactly whats going on. You can replace every sensor on the truck and still have a problem.
You need a OBD2 sensor if the Isuzu is 1996 or above and OBD1 sensor if it under 1996. They typically cost between 50-100 dollars. You plug it into your OBD female end and check whats wrong with your codes and then trip your Check Engine Light. That's the only way. Or pay a shop $75 bucks to do it, and they'll tell you exactly whats wrong with it.
