The fuel pump relay is mounted next to the injection ECU, they are normally either black or brown and about twice the size of a normal relay,
It has a black connector with a red securing clip.
This could be the cause of your problem but usually these are very reliable, The relay is relatively easy to bypass to prove if this is your problem.
Peugeot did have problems with the wiring across the front of the car (under the front bumper) and in the inner wings were the splices (Electrical cable joints) would corrode and eventually fail. These are normally quite time consuming to find.
(PS just for daft check to make sure the inertia switch has not been activated by pressing the big red/black button under the bonnet to reset it, this would cut out the fuel pump!!)
it doesnt. you should get that checked it may be a problem with the relay
i just had that same problem on my 106 found it to be the relay that was causing the problem!
Not having any other details about the problem or motor etc etc...have you checked the TPS?
There is no ABS relay on a Chevy 2002 Astro Van. If the ABS light is on it is indicating a problem with the vehicle that should be checked out.
IgnitionSwitch
You cannot bypass the fuel pump relay. It must be working. You will have to repair the problem causing it not to work.
i had the exact same problem and i also replaced the switch and relay. the problem was in the wiring right at the positive post on the battery. also had to clean up many of the fuse links as well.
It can be the relay or fuse or the motor itself. It needs to be checked out by a knowledgeable person.
Relay for what? What is the problem?Relay for what? What is the problem?
if you have checked the voltage with a dvom then you need to verify that the power source at the fuel pump relay is correct, if it has the correct voltage pre-relay then your problem is post-relay. if the voltage is not correct pre-relay then simply trace and repair the power source. if the problem is post relay then check the output voltage directly at the relay, if voltage is good trace and repair line from relay to pump. if voltage is not correct then replace the fuel pump relay
I had the same problem and it turned out to be a faulty indicator stalk. In your case it could be the same or just a faulty relay which is situated behind the glove box
i had same problem its the relay in the fuze box under hood. i got a relay at dealer for 50 dollars.
