GLE is better than GXE. The GLE is the luxury edition and the GXE is the standard edition. The SE is the sports edition and normally has a firmer suspension system, sport wheels, and some other sporty upgrades.
In the US, there are three levels of the Nissan Maxima: The GXE, base model The GLE, luxury model The SE, sport model The SE 5 speeds are rare and highly desired. You can generally tell an SE, because it in the ONLY Maxima with the white gauges (seen here - http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/1145/4541/2862270113_large.jpg ). The SE has a spoiler (sometimes a GLE has a spoiler as well), the SE comes with a Bose stereo (so does the GLE), the SE always has the power sunroof (sometimes the GLE does), the SE often has leather interior, the SE always has fog lights. I believe only the GLE has the chrome door handles. Hope this helps =) What is difference between a gxe and gle Nissan maxima?"
The gxe comes just standard; there is no leather or sunroof The gle comes fully loaded with leather, chrome door handles and leather The spe has a stiffer suspension was the option of leather and comes with a spoiler
To my understanding GXE is the "Standard" model. Whereas SE is the "Sport Edition" so it may have exterior cosmetic buffs slightly. And GLE is the "Luxury Model"
