John and John Quincy Adams and John F. Kennedywere in born Massachusetts and lived and held public office there. Calvin Coolidge are lived there all of his adult life there and served as the state's governor. ( He was born in VT.) George H. W. Bush was born in Milton, Massachusetts but did not live in the state as an adult.
