The Strait of Magellan is the passage between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean, which separates the southern tip of South America from Tierra del Fuego.
The "big deal" about the Strait of Magellan is that it gives you a way to avoid sailing around Cape Horn, which is some of the worst weather in the world.
There are many bodies of water across the world. The South Pacific Ocean and the Southern Ocean meet near Cape Horn at the Strait of Magellan.

Double check me on this one, but I'm pretty sure it's the Straits of Magellan. At the southern tip of South America. The Cape of Good Hope is at the southern tip of Africa. One other place they meet would be the Panama Canal. On the other side of the globe, the Indian ocean, and other bodies of water come between them, so they don't actually meet there. Pretty sure. :)
