i believe that ben Franklin was one and i also think Patrick Henry was one. Greorge Washington was one of them to....other wise im sorry cant really help you...

All members of the constitutional congress contributed but really Alexander Hamilton and especially James Madison were the main authors. James Madison is considered the father of the constitution.

In order to convince the people that their states should ratify it Madison, Hamilton and John Jay wrote anonymous articles in the newspapers explaining in great detail what each part of the constitution meant. The many many columns were eventually compiled and published as "The Federalist Papers." This book should be mandatory reading in high school.

Anyway, Washington was master of ceremony. Franklin made a speech when they were finished and Patrick Henry never showed up and was quite adamantly against the constitution.
