Islam started becoz this world's people had fallen into deep ditch of ignorance and there was an extreme need of guidance. every holy book was tampered with by its own followers and there was a need of making people remember that therez a hell of difference between good nd bad!!!!!!

Answer

To remind people of their Creator to establish social justice to pave a safe way to heaven

As per history, Islam began in Mecca, Saudi Arabia when God revealed the Qur'an to the prophet of Islam but....... the Muslim's perspective is completely different, as per Muslim, Islam and quran....Adam, Abraham, Noah, moses, Jesus ( Adam, Ibrahaim, Nuh, moosa,Isa in Arabic respectively) are messengers of Allah and came with the same message of montheism and message of one god and being creator of universe.

As per Muslim ,Islam and Quran ... the Islam is absolute religion which exists from the day one of the mankind and Adam (peace be upon him) was the first prophet/messenger of Allah ....and the last being Muhammad (peace be upon him) ......

The following verses from Quran proves the point ....

And He(Allah) taught Adam the names of all things; then He placed them before the angels, and said: "Tell me the names of these if ye are right."

( Quran,Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #31)

Allah did choose Adam and Noah, the family of Abraham, and the family of 'Imran above all people,-

( Quran,Aal-e-Imran, Chapter #3, Verse #33)

We(Allah) have sent thee inspiration, as We sent it to Noah and the Messengers after him: we sent inspiration to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the Psalms.

( Quran,An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #163)

And remember We(Allah) took from the prophets their covenant: As (We did) from thee: from Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary: We took from them a solemn covenant:

( Quran,Al-Ahzab, Chapter #33, Verse #7)

We(Allah) gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of apostles; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you an apostle with what ye yourselves desire not, ye are puffed up with pride?- Some ye called impostors, and others ye slay!

( Quran , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #87)

So as per Muslim ,Islam and Quran ... the Islam is absolute religion which exists from the day one of the mankindand Adam (peace be upon him) was the first prophet/messenger of Allah ..and the last being Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Answer

Islam has been on Earth since the time of Adam, first man on earth. He believed in and worshipped Allah.

ANSWER.

First of all tell you that Islam is not new religion, Islam means'Submitt your will to Allah(God)" and the difference between Christianity and judaism is that these religions were for that particular time and Islam is for all people and for all time upto judgment day. So Muhammed(SAW) is last and final messenger from God, as Moses and Jesus were mesenger from God but not last. With time chiristianity and judism is altered by humen being, but Quran is same today as it was releaved 1400 yrs ago. so Islam is not started now, it is started when Adam was sent down to earth from heaven.

Answer:

This is an excellent question, since even most Muslims do not know the correct full truth about this. In a nutshell, God sent Mohammed because the entire Christian leadership had become "corrupt". Since God had to preserve the mainstream Christian prophecy of the Second Advent to come, God could not simply destroy Christianity. So God sent Mohammed with the crucial internal mission to defeat Christian leaders. But this direction to Mohammed was only temporary. After about five-hundred years of purging and purifying Christianity, the blessings that had become so prevalent in the Muslim world were passed back to the Christian mainstream. Today's Muslim terrorists are actually what we might call ORTHODOX Muslims, (flush with the power of USA oil-money), since they are following the original Koranic scripture to "defeat all infidels", (including all "sinful Muslims").

Islam started when humankind set foot on earth.First prophet of Islam is Adam (as). As the human gets inspired by good people ,when they died, firstly they started painting them. Then they worshipped them and they makes idols of various animals which we now know that the animals have no divinity, but they worshipped the idols which they make!!! God sent mankind to worship him alone. So by the change in human life because of their new worship,God sent messengers to guide mankind. The last prophet of god is Prophet Mohammed(PBUH).He was born in Arabia. He changed the whole world from all the evils and mischiefs. Islam came as an improvement over Christianinty and Judaism. The original teachings of these two religions had been corrupted and so God sent a new purified religion. In essence, Islam is similar to Judaism and Christianity when these religions were first started.

What is Islam?: The name of the religion is Islam, which comes from an Arabic root word meaning "peace" and "submission." Islam teaches that one can only find peace in one's life by submitting to Almighty God (Allah) in heart, soul and deed. The same Arabic root word gives us "Salaam alaykum," ("Peace be with you"), the universal Muslim greeting.

Who is a Muslim?: A person who believes in and consciously follows Islam is called a Muslim, also from the same root word. So, the religion is called "Islam," and a person who believes in and follows it is a "Muslim." * What is the difference between Muslim, Moslem and Islamic?

How Many and Where?: Islam is a major world religion, with over 1 billion followers worldwide (1/5 of the world population). It is considered one of the Abrahamic, monotheistic faiths, along with Judaism and Christianity. Although usually associated with the Arabs of the Middle East, less than 10% of Muslims are in fact Arab. Muslims are found all over the world, of every nation, color and race. * Muslim population of the world

Who is Allah?: Allah is the proper name for Almighty God, and is often translated merely as "God." Allah has other names that are used to describe His characteristics: the Creator, the Sustainer, the Merciful, the Compassionate, etc. Muslims believe that since Allah alone is the Creator, it is He alone that deserves our devout love and worship. Islam holds to a strict monotheism. Any worship and prayers directed at saints, prophets, other human beings or nature is considered idolatry. * More about the nature of God * "Names" of Allah

What do Muslims believe about God, prophets, the afterlife, etc.?: The basic beliefs of Muslims fall into six main categories, which are known as the "Articles of Faith": * Faith in the unity of God * Faith in angels * Faith in prophets * Faith in books of revelation * Faith in an afterlife * Faith in destiny/divine decree

The "five pillars" of Islam: In Islam, faith and good works go hand-in-hand. A mere verbal declaration of faith is not enough, for belief in Allah makes obedience to Him a duty. The Muslim concept of worship is very broad. Muslims consider everything they do in life to be an act of worship, if it is done according to Allah's guidance. There are also five formal acts of worship which help strengthen a Muslim's faith and obedience. They are often called the "Five Pillars of Islam." * Testimony of faith (Kalima) * Prayer (Salat) * Almsgiving (Zakat) * Fasting (Sawm) * Pilgrimage (Hajj)

Daily life as a Muslim: While often seen as a radical or extreme religion, Muslims consider Islam to be the middle road. Muslims do not live life with complete disregard for God or religious matters, but nor do they neglect the world to devote themselves solely to worship and prayer. Muslims strike a balance by fulfilling the obligations of and enjoying this life, while always mindful of their duties to Allah and to others. * Morals and manners * Business ethics * Modesty in dress and behavior * Dietary rules * Marriage * Care of children and elderly * Racism and prejudice * Relations with non-Muslims

To bring humanity to the right path, just the way He created other religions before Islam (per Quran revelation to prophet Muhammad; PBUH). Muslims acknowledge the fact that all religions before Islam were meant for the same reason so as to enlighten the human race and bring them to light, except that they were authentic for their particular time and nation. Answer 1Neither Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) nor any other True Prophet started Islam at his own wish. Allah Almighty blessed the chosen ones (about 1,24,000) to peach Islam and guide human beings to the right path. Many of the Prophets (May peace be upon them) had to suffer extreme cruelty, wounds, pain, even the loss of their life in the Way Of Almighty God. They were given this duty and during the dischage of this divine duty they had to bear unbearable punishment, yet they stood their ground. See what Faroh did to Hazrat Moses (AS) and what the Jews did to Hazrat Jesus Christ (AS).

What did the Makkan Quraish do to the last prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). They threw garbage on him, ridiculed him, even stoned him so hard that his blood congealed in his shoes. He had to migrate to Madina where he was attacked at Badar, Uhad, and Khandaq. What did he receive during his lifetime-torture, pain and suffering In all odds he was duty bound to preach Islam. What did Hazrat Jesus Christ (AS) get??? What was the REWARD of Hazrat Noah (AS) or Hazrat Abraham (AS)? A duty was given to them by Almighty God and they had to fulfil it!

Answer 2

In Islam, Mohammed is not seen to be the founder of Islam, but the final prophet in a long succession of prophets. However, Muslims have often asked themselves why God chose Mohammed as his final prophet. The answer that is usually given is that during this period, the Arabs needed unity to stop killing one another. By using Mohammed in 7th century Arabia, God was able to bring peace and brotherhood to those people.

A:

We can say with confidence when and where Islam developed, even how it developed, but why it developed must be a matter of opinion or speculation.

It appears that Muhammad had long been worried by what he perceived to be a crisis in Arab society. He wanted to build a community characterised by practical compassion, in which there was a fair distribution of wealth. For him it was far more important that people behave to one another with justice, equity and compassion, than any doctrinal teachings about God. This is not to say that Muhammad was a perfect human being. He sought recognition as a prophet, and was disappointed when the Jews of Medina (Yathrib) refused to recognise him as such. He laid down laws for others, such as how many wives were allowed, then found that he alone was permitted a greater number of wives.
