I have same issue except I am on cold and get clicking when attempting to go to heat. also rear areas have heating or cooling
A clicking noise from the dash on a 2003 Mercedes Benz might be the flasher for the turn signals. Sometimes the flasher will make a clicking noise if it is about to go out, to let the driver know it is time to replace the flasher relay switch.
horn not working on 2003 ford explorer sport trac, just a clicking sound
Apparently it is the rear air "blender" ( whatever that is(?)) My 2003 Explorer was making the loud clicking sound from the rear driver side above the rear left wheel. I lived with it for a month before I just found the answer on the net. I turned off the rear fan control (from the front controls) and the clicking has stopped. I guess there is no more air from the rear now but the clicking has stopped- Car is long been paid off and I'm happy again.
heat/ac actuator
could be the water pump. maybe radiator
Sounds like a wheel bearing to me.
if you have a bad axle they will usually make a clicking noise when turning
Either your engine coolant temperature is too high , your oil pressure too low , or your gas gauge is near or at empty
Some people have reported a clicking noise in the transfer case when it's low on fluid, so check the level. If the level is fine, use a screen to drain the fluid through and watch for metal flakes. If you find them, the transfer case would need to be rebuilt.
If it's a 4-wheel drive then it could be the axel joint / CV joint. It could also be the brake pads.
Ya mine does that also every time I drive. NOTE TO SELF: NEVER BUY AMERICAN TRASH AGAIN!!!
