Answer
There can be a few reasons why your tire would make a droning noise and they would be first a wheel berring, most probably the cause. Secondly the tire could be warped and or a ball joint might be on the way out. I'd have it checked at a garage soon if possible because the last thing you want to have happen is to be driving down the road and a wheel berring lets go.
The word "Droning" means "to make a sustained low humming sound" or "to speak tediously in a dull monotonous tone." Example sentences: The woods were very quiet, except for the droning noise of insects. Listening to my teacher's droning voice makes me sleepy. The hours of droning speeches went on and on.
What kind of noise and is it just one tire?
Tire is not properly balanced, Tire is defective and/or out of round, Tire has a broken internal belt, a bent wheel, If the vibration is extremely fast and produces a droning noise, a defective universal joint or defective drive shaft is the likely cause..
check the diff drain the oil and replace
Yes. A tire that is "scalloped" can make a rumbling noise.
It could be a wheel bearing, loose wheel, CV joints or even a tire problem.
No, I've had many and if anything they are quieter.
Most commonly this is a tire wear issue
Bad tire (swap position and see if noise changes) Bad wheel bearing - worse on turns?
id say type and size of tire, and if bearings are bad either or will make that humming sound.
The constant droning of the bees could be heard throughout the garden.
