Without knowing more it could be anything. Torque converter clutch could be stuck if it stalls at a stop sign. Carburator if it stalls after it warms up or when you MASH the gas pedal. Points if its old enough. Shorted ignition wire ( coil wire or distributor power or ground ) if it happens in a corner or after you hit a big bump. Ignition modual if it does it in damp or hot weather.
