Bad sensor? == ==
lOW COOLANT OR BAD SENSOR
Low coolant? Bad sensor?
If it is the low coolant light, it may mean your coolant is low. If it is not low, it may be the low coolant light sensor malfunctioning.
I'm having to guess it's the low coolant light? Possible coolant switch in the overflow bottle is dirty or defective., Is it low on coolant? Possible wiring issue to sensor.
This may, or may not help, as my Sunfire is a few years older than yours. My dashboard light dimmer switch has a built in dome light switch. When turned past maximum bright, it turns the dome light on. FriPilot
why does the coolent light stay on in my 2000 mustang gt 4.8
bad coolant level sensor in either side or bottom of plasit coolant resivoir,
Check your coolant sensor for built up sludge, or the sensor may need replacement.
I believe that the airbag light staying on, is an indication that there is a problem in the airbag system. I'd get it to a mechanic to have it looked at if I were you.FriPilot
Assuming your coolant level isn't actually low, it's most likely a bad sensor
You are low on coolant or the low coolant sensor/wiring/connection is bad.
Check low coolant sensor. Aslo, I have found that the sensor requires the "slipperiness" of a proper coolant/water mix...too much water and the sensor will stick. ==New answer headline== Also make sure you are using the right coolant. On my 97, the light will only go off if i use Dex-cool. anything else and it will stay on.
Bad coolant sensor or faulty wiring to the sensor.
i have found that with my 97 sable the low coolant light comes on when my oil is low. same as your car can run hot when your extremely low or out of oil
No, not unless you got some bad fuel with moisture in it.
How do u remove break light sensor
security light on 1998 s10 start but cut off
if u changed thermostat it has to be reset so fan can turn on correctly
There are several reasons the airbag light will stay on, in your 1998 Dodge avenger. The most common reason is the airbag sensor is not functioning properly.
There is a sensor valve located inside the reservoir its may be bad
I would suspect the brake light switch is broken or out of adjustment. The switch is located just above the brake pedal pad. or i think that brake is stuck??
Coolant recover tank low or the sending unit on the tank is defective.
There is a sensor in the side of the radiator that is most likely defective.
