More than likely the blower motor resistor pack is bad, although it can also be the switch itself.
It gives you all the blower speeds except high.
Probably the blower motor speed resistor is partially burned out.
This is more than likely caused by the actual fan switch. As I am English, I have no idea what a Chevrolet Trailblazer is, or what it looks like even, but there are things which are common to all or many vehicles.
If you do not have fan speeds it may be a fuse or the blower motor resistor. For help with the issue visit our enthusiasts forum at www.trailvoy.com
if all speeds do not work id say is a fuse, but if you just dropped one or two speeds. replace the blower motor resister. sells for $60.00 at the dealer.
if you lost one or two fan speeds you need to change the blower motor resister. it sells for around $60.00 at a dealer only.
Could be the blower motor resistor. If the other fan speeds start to disappear over time then you will have to buy the resistor. Cheap and easy fix in 20 minutes. Headlights flickering are probably an indicator that your battery is getting weak. www.trailvoy.com All the answers for your Trailblazer with pictures and instructions!
The blower motor speed resister is burned out. This part is available from your local auto parts stores. The resister is located in the engine compartment, on the firewall, on the passengers side.
This is not a common failure. The more likely culprit is the blower moter resistor that controls the fan speeds. Very simple to fix yourself and about $35 for the part. To get more info about this or other Trailblazer '02 and up questions join our forum at www.trailvoy.com
The blower motor speed resister is burned out.
If you have no speeds at all, including high speed and you have power at the fuse and the fuse is good, I would suspect the heater blower speed switch and or the electrical plug to the switch is cooked. If you have high speed only and the rest are dead, I would suspect the blower motor speed resistor.
Based on the symptoms suggest a progression of failure in the various speeds, I suspect that the blower motor itself is probably OK, and the problem is a failure of the blower "speed control RESISTOR PACK." The speed control resistor pack is usually located on the plenum chamber [the "box" usually located beneath and/or behind the dashboard above the right front passenger's seat floorboard.
