The grounding strap on the fuel tank has come loose or rusted away.
To test this theory, take a wire and hold it against the bare metal of the gas tank and the bare metal of the frame of the car while someone watches the fuel gauge (car must be running).
Injectors are clogged
it might be a fuse
be more specific what kind of noise if any at all wont turn over ? it will not even crank up
The fuel gauge could be getting improper signals from the fuel sensor. The sensor is located inside of the fuel tank.
The floater inside your pump is sticking. You will have to replace your fuel pump in order to fix this problem.
Most likely, there is a small hole in the plastic float in your gas tank's sending unit. As the float fills with fuel,it sinks to the bottom of the tank and sends an "empty" signal to the gas gauge. You're gonna need a new fuel pump. Scott
ABOUT A HALF AN INCH DOWN OR UNTELL THE EXTENDED RING SETS EVEN WITH INTAKE.... LOCATED-BACK LEFT SIDE
Fuel tank sending unit. Fuse.
yes it will if it is a 4T60E from a 3.4 DOHC and yes it will if it is from the 3.1 even though it may not i know this because i am an olds nut and i have a 96 3.4 DOHC and that is the only year in the 90s that will not enter change with the others in the case of your 93 the 95 tranny will fit as long as it is the same tranny you may have to switch a mounting bracket on the cradle but again yes yes yes is the answer you seek
There is no answer to this question as all makes of cars have different gas tank and gage designs, one will be bone dry while another car will still have a gallon left in the tank even though both gages read empty.
Picking the right color for the Cutlass really has alot of different things to take into consideration. Things like the interior color, if it has the vinyl top the types of wheels you have on it and of course your own personal likes. Just remember, if this is a car that you are going to drive, make it an expression of your personality. Even if you paint it white, make sure the color shows who you are.
The O2 sensor is located on the rear exhaust- driver's side. Easiest to get to if you rotate the engine forward and away from the firewall. I have used regular wrenches even though they sell O2 sensor wrenches.
