Could be low on coolant.
I have a 1993 Chevy lumina van that has heat but doesn't have a fan how do I fix the fan?
Most likely you have a vacume leak under the dash.Check for lines off or broken. They will harden and crack with excessive heat, such as in the engine compartment.
Check actual engine temperature with a thermometer--if in acceptable range temperature sensor or gauge may be defective
if it doesn't heat your heater core is most likely clogged and if it doesn't blow at all then the blower is messed up.
The heat/ac switch in that new of a car is controlled off of vaccuum. The hose on the back of the temp. control may have a hole in it not allowing the vents to switch over. An auto a/c specialist can check it out anywhere $30 to $50.
vacuum leak the vacuum reservoir is below the left head light, check the hoses
The temp blend door actuator is broken.
Blower motor probably took a poo, first things first, check the fuses, both in the cab, and dist. Center underhood
my 94 explorer wont blow heat
Have you checked your suction lines.
check the blower motor resistor it may be burned out
An air conditioner blows out heat
You're probably out of frion, my friend.
Blower motor switch. Put it on High and it will blow when sitting still with the engine running.
My 2001 Chevy Blazer was blowing cold air when I had the heat on. My husband flushed the line to the heater core and a bunch of junk came out and now my heat works great. how do you fix the heat in a 2002 Chevy impala
A pretty reasonable assumption would be the thermostat is stuck open.
if you had it heat high enough it very likely worped your heads and or damaged the head gasket
There is a divertor controller under the dash that controls between heat and cold. Sometime the wireing harness works loose.
You have to heat them with a torch to melt the stuff holding them in,but don,t stand in front of them as if you heat them too fast or too much they might blow the caps off.
Because most likely there is still coolant circulating through the system.
Check the colant level, it may be low.
A blocked heater core, a bad heat control valve, a bad heat control cable, low coolant.
Were is the temperature heat sensoe on a 454 chevy motor.
