Check the 1996 Blazers Power Steering pump. When the pumps go bad they will start to whine or buzz.
Maybe there's a beehive inside of it.
close but ur an idiot blazers dont have pinions. they have gear boxes.
Buzzing can be derived from buzz, an onomatopoeia for the sound, for example, a bee makes. Buzzing would thus be the present progressive of buzz, meaning it is currently taking place. Also, buzzing can mean something is popular and making a name for itself, like the more commonly used term 'trending'.
When you press the button, an electric current is connected, making a strong buzzing noise and/or light.
Try replacing the part that's making the noise! I replaced the flasher unit once with an inexpensive unit from the auto parts store and after 10 minutes, it started buzzing also. I then got an OEM unit online and after 10 minutes, it started buzzing and the turn signals stopped working. After sitting overnight, the turn signals work intermittently. I saw that Honda has a TSB out for this but cannot get a copy of the Technical Service Bulletin # 91008: Lighting - Buzzing During Turn Signal Lever Operation. If anyone has a copy, please send it to me or let me know what the fix is.

I have a `00 blazer and recently my car started making a loud winding noise also. Come to find out I had to have a whole new transmission due to that noise! The repair shop said that the noise is the first sign of the transmission going out!
There are a number of insects that could be making a loud buzzing noise at night. Different types of beetles, crickets, and even sometimes frogs make these sounds in Oahu at night.
Where is the noise coming from? Under then hood, or interior?
this has to do with physics, when it is cool in the air around de wood it makes the atoms get closer because of the cohesion force and that makes it sound..
It could be the supercharger snout itselft. I just replaced mine because it was making a sort of knocking noise. I started out just hearing it at start up and turning it off. Mine runs like a champ now along with a smaller pulley and an exhaust job.
