Aerobic exercise is an important form of exercise that utilizes the use of the heart and lungs. It is a low intensity exercise, so it can be performed for prolonged periods of time without exhaustion or risk of injury, which is especially good for older individuals. It also can be used for fat loss. On the other hand, anaerobic exercise has more benefits for those who are capable of high intensity exercise and for those with interests in increasing cardiovascular health and athletic abilities. Anaerobic exercise stresses both the cardiovascular system and muscular system. Benefits include: a decrease in body fat, an increase in cardiovascular function, speed, power, and agility. Yet, anaerobic exercise such as high intensity interval exercise should not be over performed because it stresses the body, which could lead to overtraining and injury. Anaerobic and aerobic exercise should be used in moderation.
You should include both types of exercise because resistance training does not burn fat like aerobic training does. Just doing resistance training will tone your body but you will still be left with a layer of fat over your muscle. Best way to get rid of that is to do aerobic exercises so your tone muscle can be visible.
Aerobic and resistance training work on different parts of the body
Aerobic exercise stimulates both the heart and circulatory system, and the lungs and the ability to breath more efficiently giving the body a stronger heart and greater physical endurance.
Resistance training strengthens the muscles that are being exercised giving physical strength.
Why is it important to include both anaerobic and aerobic exercises in Feild hockey
Aerobic training, such as jogging, burns fat and generally keeps you healthy, anaerobic training, such as sprinting, helps to build muscle (and a little fat) to make your body stronger.
Anaerobic exercise is what makes your heart, lungs, and arteries more healthy. Aerobic is good for your bones and muscle strength.
Aerobic exercise is cardio exercise (where you get your heart rate up). Resistance exercise is weight training using resistance.
Both. A triathlete needs to primarily do aerobic training in order to build endurance for a long event. A triathlete should also augment that with resistance training to build strength for speed.
No
Yes, aerobic exercise machines have been approved by the government. They are now placed in gyms and other training facilities. All types of aerobic exercise machines like the treadmill and elliptical are in gyms and training facilities.
Talk to your doctor about it.
