Sounds like it could be a problem with the vacuum booster or vacuum supply to the booster Check for a vacuum leak
Make sure the check valve on the booster is working
Check the vacuum canister
have you tried the proportioning valve. sometimes dirt will get in there and clog the returns.
Brake calipers are the hydraulic devices that wrap around the rotors and pinch the brake pads into the rotors when you stop.
Make sure calipers aren't frozen
i am assuming it is the same procedure as an xl7. front rotors are replaced by pulling the wheels and removing the calipers. the rotor is easily removed. calipers are held in place by two bolts
Depending on what's getting replaced: Pads, rotors, calipers, etc.
take off calipers and pull the rotors off the hub
If you manged to replace the rotors w/o unhooking the calipers - no.
Remove the wheel, the calipers and the rotors, reverse procedure with new rotors.
It's rare....because usually the master cylinder will allow pressure to bleed off. Not the other way around. But if you have replaced the calipers, this is the next thing I would check. I suppose it could be sticking.
Check if the calipers are sticking.
More detail is needed . Do you mean disc pads, or pads and rotors, or calipers with pads and rotors, or completely new calipers, brakelines and master cylinder. -All of these are viable but different options.-You need to be MUCH more specific in what you want.More detail is needed . take wheels off, remove brake calipers. rotors slide right off.
