check radiator cap for wear. defective cap can cause radiotor hoses to collapse.
it is located under the throttlebody just follow the upper radiator hose
Usually at the engine end of the upper radiator hose in a bolt on type housing
Drain the radiator into a container. Remove the upper radiator hose at the engine and remove the 2 bolts in the thermostat housing. Remove the thermostat and clean the surfaces. Install the new thermostat ,upper radiator hose and refill the radiator.
Probably at the engine end of the upper radiator hose On the 3.5L it's just inboard of the water pump, at the end of the lower radiator hose...

Partially drain the radiator down . Remove the upper radiator hose at the engine end. The housing is where the thermostat is located. Remove the two bolts and clean Both surfaces. Install the new thermostat.
FIRST YOU MUST REMOVE THE TWO DOG BONE MOUNTS(I THINK ITS FOUR SCREWS EACH). THEN YOU HAVE FOUR SCREWS ON THE FAN ASSEMBLY(TWO UPPER,TWO LOWER). THEN REMOVE THE TRANNY LINES, AND UPPER AND LOWER RADIATOR HOSES.
It is between the battery and upper radiator hose where it comes out of the radiator.

Clean both surfaces and install the thermostat, install the housing and the 2 retaining bolts. install the upper radiator hose and top off the coolant. It is located at the engine end of the top radiator hose in the thermostat housing.
Most thermostats are in-line with the upper radiator hose. Check the housing where the upper radiator hose connects to the block.
