Queen Anne Scottish Royal House of Stuart was the last Monarch of England and first Monarch of Great Britain. Every Monarch since then has been crowned King or Queen of Great Britain. Queen Anne did not leave an heir to the throne of Britain and it was her cousins in the House of Hanover that took over followed by Saxe Coburg then House of Windsor all of whom depend to some extent on Stuart blood.

England is not a State, nor does it have a Monarchy as is the case with Scotland. The United Kingdom is the Union of the Kingdom of Scotland and the Kingdom of England. The Crown and throne is now and has been for three hundred years the Crown of Great Britain.
