there is a actuator that moves the tempature blend door, the door that controls hot to cold.the gears in the motor are plastic.is it makes a clicking noise after you turn the heater on ,it broke answer a flapping sound is usually caused by a leaf or other matter falling down thru vents pull fan cover off and clean debis out, mostdoors are are controlled by cable or vacuum, not gears.as you didnt say a clicking sound i doubt very much it has anything to do with motor or gears
They fly like other birds.. tail spread out, and wings flapping if the air is still. But if it isn't, like on a thermal, a gust of blowing winds, the bird can soar through the air, the wind pushing it. Raptors have hollow bones and feathers, making them light. This is how they fly.
There aren't any 'water valves' for the heater.Temperature changes are made by moving a flapper door with a small electric "actuator" motor. If your Windstar is making a thumping noise (like an angry rabbit) when changing the temperature setting, you're virtually guaranteed to have a failed actuator.Luckily it's an easy repair and prices about $50.See "Related Questions" below for more
Take it to the dealer as it's still under warranty.

When making changes to a car, it is important to have a diagram. A diagram for a 1998 Ford Windstar steering wheel column can be found in the maintenance manual, or a print out can be made at an auto part store.
a bird stays in the air by flapping it's wings. also, the bones in it's body are hollow, making flying much easier for a bird. i hope this helps :)
Try blowing out the game port and making sure the game has clean contacts.
it could be the thermostat needs to be changed or the heater core needs to be flushed out.these would be the cheaper things to try first.
The materials in a immerisian heater are used for making the heating element heat in water. Without them they couldn't be a chance for the heat to last.
no the freon is strictly for making cold when the a/c is being used in the summertime and what makes the heater core works when heat is needed is the coolant
Blowing on a fire increases the intake of oxygen into the combustion zone. As there is then more oxygen then before, more comburant can be burnt, which increases the energy released, i.e making the whole system hotter.
You don't push air into Styrofoam.Styrofoam is "foamed" using a liquid blowing agent that is mixed into the liquid styrene resin before molding, this liquid blowing agent then evaporates forming bubbles in the styrene. This blowing agent used to be a freon, but as these can damage the ozone layer they have switched to using HCFC or HFC blowing agents. The bubbles in styrofoam are filled with the gaseous form of the blowing agent, not air!
My 1997 VW Golf 1.9L Diesel started making a strange flapping noise when i accelerate and decelerate, like when you drive fast with a puncture. She has also started to screech when turning left, even slightly but only sometimes, I think this problem is due to a worn CV joint. Could these be related? Thanks in advance for your help.
