Americans and Europeans are predominantly Christian & even atheists. Even though Christianity & Islam have much in common, Atheism is just the opposite. Besides Muslims have been portrayed in a deplorabe way as people do draconian things under the name of Islam, just to have a name to do things under. Everybody wants to fight for what they see as right, & those who do not see Islam as right are fighting against it because it has been incorrectly made to be seen like so.
