i want to do it my self
i WANT TO KNOW WHERE THE DAUL AIR BAGS ON ALTIMA 98?
17 inch rims on a 98 Nissan AltimaYes you can put 17' rims on a 1998 Nissan Altima. The tire size which works best on both axels is 215/45, But based on the body size of the 98 Altima, you might want to go with 18 inch rims.
Why would you want to put 20 inch rims on an Altima? I can tell you that 18 inch rims worked.
Because it is more colder during the winter and freezes some of the chemicals. My Nissan Altima does the same thing and its a '03.
it might... but you would want to contact your dealer just to be sure.
Depending where you live....in Illinois it's from 500-2000$ depending on body paint and if you want it sanded.
Here's the programming procedure: Step 1. Gather up all keys you want to have programmed. Step 2. Drive to a Nissan dealer, have them program your keys. All done.
there is no answer to this without consulting the garage where you want to trade the car, sorry
No, they are not compatible. The Altima completely changed its body style starting in 2002. If you want to match up an airbag with a newer or older Nissan, take these steps. First, write down your vehicle VIN number located beneath your windshield. Your Vin number provides a Nissan dealership with the required parts for that vehicle. Assuming that you pulled off an air bag from a different car, make sure you write down the VIN from the car you took the donor part off of. Call the dealership and have them interchange the to Vin numbers from your vehicle and the donor vehicle. Once they do so, they will tell you whether or not the part in question can function properly in both vehicles OR if they are even compatible. Aside from all this, an airbag from a 2000 altima will NOT work NOR fit into a 2002 Altima because they went to a completely new body style that year.
I suggest making an appointment with a professional automobile in your area to learn how to replace this belt. Cars are not something you want to trust a stranger over the internet about.
