if you didn't know the answer to that one. i think you might want to bring it to the dealer. those motors suck to work on. and if you don't know how to change a timing belt. you could run into a little bit of trouble :X gl bro the water pump or pump cover is leaking, replace the pump, belt, belt tensioner, thermostat, replace the cover with updated part from the dealer.
sensor for water temp is in water pump on front of engine, has two wire plug going to it.
could be your thermostat or you have no antifreeze coolant or your water pump is going bad
Keeps engine coolant from going through heater core when it is not needed.
right front part of engine bay right behind the fan assy, you will find couple coolant hoses going into it...
ITS THE PLUG WITH TWO WIRES GOING UP JUST TO THE LEFT OF WHERE THE THERMOSTAT IS.
If you are traveling east there is no way Texas can be in front of you and NY behind you.
The coolant temp sensor is probably doing its job. You may have other issues such as being low on coolant or a thermostat going bad.
if you dont see any leaks its going into the motor. head gaskets, cracked block or heads etc etc
Coolant 'sensor' for EEC purposes is near front coil on heater core hose going to thermostat housing. It's a two wire connector.
The fuel pump will be located on the left front side of the engine, right behind the harmonic balancer. The power steering assembly will have to be removed to gain access to the pump. It will have three lines going to it, and two bolts holding it on.
Remove all engine covers, including the one in the front of the engine. Then look behind your alternator, you'll see a coolant pipe going in, if the car's been running a while, it'll be the only cold coolant hose. It goes into a housing then into the block. To remove, just undo the 2 hex bolts on the housing, and the thermostat is right there. Hope this helped
If you look in over the top of the left front tire where the A frame and shock is bolted you will see an electric wire going in behind the rotor. That wire goes to the sensor. There is 1 behind each front wheel.
