because the coil pack is bad...the 2.3 has 8 plugs in it and each coil pack controls one side...so if good spark on one side and not on the other is either a bad coil pack or the pigtail is damaged suppling it
Yea and you will lose all your power in the low-end if you lose the driver side, Or you will lse all of your top-end if you lose the passenger side. My truck lost all power so i bought 2 new coils for it and while i was reaplacing the driver side coil i realized the 3-wire connector that connects to the coil had 2 broke off wires so i spliced in another connector from a u-pull it.
