This is most likely caused by irregular periods or a hormonal imbalance. If the bleeding was heavy flow then see your doctor as you may need Birth Control pills to regulate your period if this occurs again. Nothing to worry about but do see your doctor. It can also be due to your age, if you are young and just starting to have periods it can take some women several years before their periods become regular. It may or may not be anything serious.

∙ 15y agoA cycle can vary from 28 days to 45. Since there are 30 days in a month, you can have two cycles. If you are having a cycle every 14 days, see a doctor they may try a mini-pill to boost your hormones or a D & C to clean out the uterus, that will re-set your cycle.

∙ 8y agoWhen they first start getting their periods, most girls have irregular ones - too heavy, too light, only a couple weeks apart, two months apart. It takes a while for your system to settle down - years, sometimes. Plus, your body doesn't care about the calender - some girls when their body settles down get two periods a month; some get one every other month. It's an individual thing.
That said, If you think there is something wrong than you should talk to your doctor.

It isn't that abnormal to have two periods in a month. However, sometimes it can occur, if you have a short cycle and your period starts at the beginning of the month. This would make it possible to have two periods in one month.
First of all periods last 5-7 days not 30...you do not have two periods in one month STUPID!!

If you missed your periods for a month and two weeks, contact a doctor. You could be pregnant or suffering from a medical condition.

The pill may be causing the two periods a month. talk to your doctor and see if you can switch to a differant kind.
If you have a cycle of less days than a month would have, then you could have two cycles in one month. For example. If you have a cycle of 28 days, then you could have a period that starts on October first, then another one that starts on October 29th. That would be completely normal and expected with a regular cycle.
a hard stomach and twin periods in one month mean you have twins on board.
