Bad crank position sensor
check the crankshaft sensor
Does it turn over? Does it have fuel, spark and compression?
probably crank sensor, they are famous for that
It was recommended from the factory that the jeep grand Cherokee I haveuse castrol . If your jeep has over 100,000 miles i would the start usingcastrol Synthetic Oil. I don't think you have any motor problems doing this.good jeepen ....hope i helped
ok i have a 1986 jeep cherokee it wont start from the key in side it turns over but dosent fire up an its got (gas an fire) it will start if you pull start it an it has a carb
You will have no problem with that switch over.
more than likely you have a short in your wiring
To turn the engine over.
There is absolutely no advantage of any Cherokee Jeep over any Toyota Highlander. I've had both. The Jeep spent more time in the shop than on the road.
Have you checked the ignision timing. Check the firing order as well
