In a sense it would, say that 1000 watt amp was a mono channel. that would mean its 1000 watts RMS @ 1-0hm, 2 RF p3 4ohm would make it 500 watts to the two. if you want full power you need a 1200 watt amp @ 1-ohm, that would make it 600 watts to the 2 and that is the RMS of those subs. you can run more but running above RMS can blow or distort the subs.
it depends on the type of subwoofer. if you bought your subwoofer brand new, check the specs on it. it should have a statistic of RMS, which is your peak power. if you have only 500 watts, your speakers RMS need to be 250 watts at the least.
Yea but itll suck to be honest, save your money :).
Rockford fosgate P3's
"Power Acoustik GT1-2400D" OR "Kenwood Excelon X1200M" Amplifier
How much power can the subs take in terms of RMS wattage? You can either wire them to a 4 ohm load where they will each see 125 watts, or to a 1 ohm load where they each get 250 watts. Rockford Fosgate supplies a very useful feature for showing how to wire the subs for the impedance that you want: http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp
Yes. But it will not push the p3's to their max. But the P-500.2 is still a strong amp. I used the amp on two Kicker 12 inch L7's and they sounded good but they still had more potential.
The p1000-1 Rockford fosgate punch amp
you might have you subs hooked up wrong i the box idk check and make sure might blow um
yes it will...should be plenty of power. should sound nice.
any amp could push any subs. but first off, rockford fosgate sucks. itll bump and be a good setup but sellt he amp and but sundown or american bass for amps
yes say you have a 10" kicker sub that needs 250 watts to hit and you have a 1000 watt kicker amp you have to much power going into that sub so it will hit harder. BUT if you but more subs and your amp has a few channels you can send the right amount of power to the subs without risking damage. i have 2 12"kickers with a 1000 watt amp so i have to much power but my subs sound amazing so do what you want most subs are $80-180 HAVE FUN
A bigger alternator.
Why on earth would you take an awesome set of subs and subject them to some skimpy amp? Hunt down the Rockford T5002 and you'll set off car alarms as you drive by!
Yes the amp can push the 2 subs. I have 2 1250 watt 12inch subs and 1 maybe 400 or 500 watt amp and the amp does fine but if you want more bass at lower levels of volume then you want to have a bigger amp. Just make sure your amp doesnt blow your subs.
