You will need to drain engine coolant first. MAKE SURE ENGINE IS COLD. That is if the engine is a 5.7L 350. If it is something other then a 5.7L 350. Then the thermostat will be were the lower radiator hose clamps onto the engine, That will be the thermostat housing, remove it. If it is a V6 engine then it will be at the end of the top hose, just like the 350 engine.
