Modern vehicles, with modern lubricants can easily exceed 200,000 miles provided that it is not otherwise damaged. I know of a Chev pickup that was 5 miles short of 200,000 miles when someone ran into it and destroyed the vehicle. I know of a 4 cylinder engine with over 428,000 miles without touching the heads. Maintenance is everything when it comes to vehicles. Keep it clean, use good quality lubricants, change the oil whenever you change the oil, make sure the belts and hoses are in good condition so that the engine NEVER overheats. Overheating is the one single event that will destroy an engine almost immediately. If you make sure the vehicle is properly maintained as described above and you only use fuel from filling stations that sell a LOT of fuel so that you'll always be using "Fresh" fuel. Fresh fuel will keep the injectors clean.
No, it is not an interference engine.
Depends on the engine
Inside the engine computer.
The engine computer is the regulator.
It is screwed into the exhaust manifold on the rear of the engine.
cycle the key three times and count the blinks of the check engine light
Probably a bad head gasket.
It would greatly help to know what engine you have and if it has air conditioning (working or not)
Under hood, driver side, upper engine area, mounted on end of engine block
The engine computer is the rev limiter. It controls max rpm by shutting off fuel and ignition.
There isn't a button. The engine computer controls the system with relays.
The engine computer handles the voltage regulator duties. The computer is behind the battery.
