And you would have to install an electric fuel pump that will pump No lower then 9 LBS. and NO higher then 13 LBS. in the fuel tank. You will also have to get and install a ECM / ENGINE CONTROL MODULE / COMPUTER IN THE TRUCK. Basically you will need alll the ELECTRONICS FROM the 1994 and install all of it in the 85 truck and you will have a NICE ride. GOOD LUCK

It will fit but it won't work and the truck will never run right. Reason is that the 95 is ALL computer controled. The transmission and engine and speed sensors ALL WORK TOGETHER. So you can't put a 1990 700R4 transmission in a truck that MUST have the 4L60E in it Because the 95 truck ECM / Engine controll module/computer will be wondering were the transmission is and the engine won't even run right. You will have nothing but problems. PUT THE 4L60E BACK IN IT and be done with it.
