Every one has different cycles. Some lasting longer...shorter...heavier...lighter. I have heard of 8 day ones. Not to worry...you're normal.
No, it means your not pregnant.
You need to call your doctor or midwife, to see if they want you to be evaluated. Depending on the amount of bleeding and the severity of the pain, you could be having a miscarriage or you could be having placenta issues. Bleeding and cramping in the second trimester is not normal.
No you really shouldn't be having your period while pregnant and the second part would be normal if you weren't pregnant.
Not necessarily, most likely this "second period" is spotting or breakthrough bleeding. Spotting/ Breakthrough bleeding is bleeding before or in between menstrual cycles.
If your period is late and you have been having sex without using anything to prevent pregnancy, you should take a pregnancy test.
If a woman has a period, it is unlikely that she is pregnant; however, birth control is not 100% effective. The bleeding you have while on birth control is not actually a period; it is withdrawal bleeding, a reaction to lower hormones in the days you use a placebo pill. If you're having a typical withdrawal bleed, chances are low that you are pregnant. If you're pregnant, you will not have a normal withdrawal bleed. However you may experience brown vaginal bleeding or no bleeding at all. Even without the birth control pill, some pregnant women have bleeding (similar, but not equal, to a period) in the first month. This spotting is common, and doesn't mean that something is wrong with the pregnancy. But if you're having bleeding or spotting with a positive pregnancy test, contact your health care provider today. If you're having pain, bleeding, and a positive pregnancy test, go to the emergency room. Pregnancy with bleeding while on birth control is possible. First, birth control pills are not 100% effective and it is possible to become pregnant while on them. Second, bleeding during pregnancy is possible, but usually signals a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.
Like all of the other episodes of bleeding while using the patch, the bleeding you experienced is withdrawal bleeding. Your next period will come in four to six weeks.
With my first pregnancy I just had the implantation bleeding, no cramping, I felt wonderful. With my second pregnancy I had awful period like cramps. I didn't think I could be pregnant because it felt like my period was coming.
You have the same protection from NuvaRing with or without bleeding. Using a second method can increase protection, but it's not required just because you're bleeding.
You were never pregnant if you had your period two weeks ago. You next period decided to show up early. This is pretty normal, but if you are uncomfortable about it, you should see your doctor. I disagree with this. When I was pregnant I had one normal period after I was pregnant. It wasn't a bad one and it wasn't extra light either. Then I miscarried in my 12th week. I spotted for several days, then quit, then spotted, then I had to go to the doctor again because I wasn't bleeding enough and they prescribed me something to start bleeding. I probably should have had a d&c. Doctor didn't tell me I needed one. Now my periods are all messed up. My second miscarriage I never showed I was pregnant on home preg test. But blood test showed I was and was misscarrying. You should have this checked out.
Yes, this is very normal. The hurting, and the bleeding will go away over time.
You should wait until after your second period after the D&C. That way you also know everything is back to normal.
