You changed out your distributor cap and spark plug wires and you now know you crix-crossed some of the wires Do you just cross them correctly or has major damage already been done?

The oil pressure switch is located at the back of the engine next to the distributor. Looking at it from the front of truck it will be right of distributor. Normally it can be changed without removing the distributor.

Check coil resistance; primary-.52 to .63 ohms. secondary-11.6 to 15.8 K-ohms If it has a distributor, check the "magnetic pole generator pickup" in the distributor. New ones are cheap and many times changed with a tuneup. If it is the problem, make sure it is installed correctly. Some have a certain gap that has to be correctly set.
