You have a 1998 olds intrigue and its auto is there anyway you can make it stick by getting a new engine or anything?

It would be costly and very time consuming. Unfortunately, GM never offered a manual transmission for the fwd 3800 engine.

A 3.8 of the same series from any GM Division. 3.4 do not share the same bolt pattern. 3.5 Intrigue engines are only in certain Intrigues and Auroras, and do not share the bolt battern with 3.8s. But this comes from someone who has put a 455 Toro in the rear of an S10, and a W-41 in a Fiero. Anything goes in anything if you are creative. :)
