You just bought a 97 vw golf trek you dont know whats been done to it so what should you get done at this mileage Also water is leaking from under the passenger dash?

first you should get an all around tune up, and for the water leak; try cleaning the drains. . . you have to remove the plastic vents under your wipers, then (I) used a wire hanger to unclog the water drains. while your at it you can change your air filter.
