The starter should be between the engine and trans on the right side of the truck. Disconnect battery, remove wire from starter to battery. There should only be 3 bolts attaching the starter to the trans bellhousing.

Next to the battery behind the left headlight. You have to get the battery otut to get to it. It should be black in colour
disconect both battery cables for about 30 minutes to reset
It means that the alternator is shot or the battery is shot, you need to get the charging system checked out.
its beside the battery has 2 connectors that plug in to it the smaller one is the trans computer
Had the same issue, my mechanic recommended to rebuild trans, did so now no problems.
