I have a '99 passport and the driver side did the same thing, luckily i have a good friend that is an electrical engineer and he was able to spot and solder a small break in the wiring on the switch card, you could take it to a computer place, that's all i have for you-Drew
Maybe its your driver-side window regulator that stopped working.
Often the plug in connector at the drivers side switch can becaome loose and break the connection. Remove the switch and check this.
in my trail blazer i took the whole switch assembly apart and discovered that a miny diode had fried. It is a matter of replacing the switch assembly.
Pop out the switch on the drivers door; it may be a simple connection at the drivers side (master switch). All power runs thru this switch before going to the motors or other switches.
look where the drivers door wiring goes from the a piller into the door look for broken wires to the master switch
my heater switch on my vauxhall frontera as just stopped working but we can feel slightly heating coming through
you need either a switch or regulator
The door switch is bad. I have replaced the drivers side door switch on mine for the same reason.
Fuse? Connections? Switch? Wiper Motor? Could be any of those.

Switch is faulty. I had a flaky switch, and a shoddily repaired power cable. I replace the cable and switch, now the brush works.
Power goes to the drivers door switch and then out to the other switches, so I would look for a bad connection at the drivers switch. Use a 12v circuit tester at the switch area. Also inspect the wires that pass thru the door area as these can get pinched and frayed causing a short.I hope this helps you. Mark
