do you have mechanical linkage or accelerator cable. these may be dirty and need lube to stop them sticking. check for broken return spring on accelerator
If your fan clutch is working properly and your thermostat is good then it should not overheat.
Your clutch hydraulics are low in fluid, refill and try again. It also means that you probably have a leak too, so look for some wetness near the master and slave cylinders to determine which needs replacing.
If it has a hydraulic clutch, it is probably the slave cylinder. You could still have pedal but the slave is letting the fluid past the seals. Have someone watch the slave while the clutch pedal is pushed.
Many things, but a clutch bearing seems likely.
hi i have a astra and the clutch seems high but vaxhall said its normal ?
check the fluid level in the clutch master cylinder
What is the proper adjustment for a 2004 Heritage Softtail Clutch. It seems I am releasing the handle 2/3 of the way out before clutch engadges. What is the proper procedure for adjusting the clutch
Could be brake or clutch fluid
sounds like a clutch problem
This is dependent on the type of vehicle that you may have. You may have to get the replace the clutch.
There are 2 main reasons you would loose all your gears either: you clutch has gone, if this is the case you should normally have noticed it slipping(engine seems to rev higher when driving even when foot is completely off the clutch or the bite of the clutch is right at the top). Your gearbox has had an internal failure. ehich would normally mean a trip to the breakers or a recon one from a garage
